Robert H. Bean Professorship: Texas Tech law professor J. Hadley Edgar (left) is congratulated by Texas Tech University president Lauro F. Cavazos upon being named the first Robert H. Bean professor of law. The professorship, established in honor of retired 140th District Judge Robert H. Bean, was funded by Texas Tech's share of the Corrugated Container antitrust suit settlement and by attorneys from the Lubbock area.
