Abstract
This study utilizes autoethnography to tell the author's personal tattoo stories. These stories are then decompressed and analyzed for a more in-depth look at how the tattoos portray Southern feminism ideals. The designs as well as the tattoo experience are explored to answer the questions, how do my tattoos as self expression illustrate Southern Feminism? and how do the designs I have chosen express Southern feminist ideals?
