Abstract
A homeomorphic model of the eye movement plant is developed and used to simulate human saccadic eye movement. The Hill-based model incorporates nonlinear musculotendon dynamics. The effects of particular system parameters such as muscle mass and viscosity are investigated. The numerical simulations are realistic with respect to trajectories, velocities, and forces.
