This letter is informational in that they are trying to decipher what to do about the damage that has been made to the goods. Rector personally is against any such sale so far as the interest of the government is concerned.
[Letter to A. B. Greenwood] acknowledging a receipt stating that citizens of Texas complain and are outraged upon disputes with property with the Indians said belonging to the Wichita Reserve and addressing Agent Leeper to make an investigation and reports on these complaints. Since Agent Leeper is on absence from the agency they will try to contact him regarding this issue.
