An astronaut training school

My purpose in this report is to present a more practical solution for the training of the United State's future space pilots. The present selection methods and training program of astronauts will be discussed in the following pages. In the planning of a facility of this type one should be well aware of its present and future needs. The goal of the program should be well understood before one undertakes the project. Although concern was given to the physical plant to function as an educational facility, concern was also given to the architectural environment to make it a more pleasant place for the students.
