This thesis presents a Blender System Truck used in land fracking operations. Its functioning is reviewed, a mathematical model is created in MATLAB to simulate its dynamic characteristics, and then a control law is designed, synthesized and simulated. A complex process control is installed on a Blender Truck to mix in real time, large amounts of slurry, which is then fed into a well head for fracking operations. The slurry is made from water, sand and chemical additives. Each of these components is poured into a mixing tank in precise quantities to maintain the output slurry at a constant density. Density cannot change over +/-5%.
