Birthing center for multi-ethnic Malaysian Communities

Abstract

Thesis Statement I intend to express Architecture as a natural system. Architecture is analogous to a "living organism", alive, meaningful, and "whole". Context The intended site is located at the Tun Hussein Onn residential town of Mukim Cheras, Selangor Malaysia which is about ten miles from Kuala Lumpur. Facility The thesis vehicle is a Birthing Center for Multi-Ethnics Malaysians community. The main intention for choosing this type of facility is because, it is the perfect vehicle in order; o to emphasis the acting together of family members as a whole, in achieving a sense of family togetherness, o to emphasis the integrating of building systems that all acting together as a whole in order to create a "sustainable" environment and "meaningful" Architecture, ® to emphasis the acting together of many different ethnic groups, as a whole, in achieving a dynamic and stable developed country, o to emphasis the living together of all systems including a human being, a family, an architecture, and a country, as a whole, creating the sustainable world.
