Abstract
'hesis Statement Contextualisk Contextual architecture and designing with citizens' input as a way of strengthenlng a community's historical and cultural identity. Context Founded in the 1860's Mosier Valley is a low-income African American community located along the Trinity River in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Recent developments in the area pose a threat to the community's historical and cultural identity. Facilitv Cômmunity Center A community center that will serve as a meeting place for up to 1,000 people. The facility will include a permanent exhibition space and host various community activities.
