Abstract
This quantitative study investigated the effects that intimate partner violence has on academic success. Academic success was measured by examining student self-reported GPA, self-perception of academic ability, self-perception of academic performance and academic stress. Results indicated that students who reported experiencing intimate partner violence were associated with a lower GPA.
