Abstract
Provides an overview and brief history of extradition, looking at extradition procedures and the Uniform Criminal Extradition Act (UCEA). The author believes the Act can help decrease state conflicts that occur because of extradition decisions. Section 5, along with other provisions of the UCEA, should be interpreted in a broad manner so as to encourage their use and avoid state conflicts.
