Abstract
Discusses various cases and issues heard by the Fifth Circuit during the survey period in the area of civil rights. The Fifth Circuit decided notable cases concerning the state action requirement and the requirement of a person under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. It also considered some important cases in the fields of equal employment and religious discrimination.
