Abstract

Discusses the recent trend of turning to the joinder of the manufacturer of allegedly defective products in medical malpractice suits. The author believes that products liability claim, as they apply to medical malpractice, have largely until now been ignored. The author outlines the steps of a malpractice suit that seeks to impose liability not on the doctor, but on the medical appliance.
