Abstract
Discusses natural death statutes that declare the right of terminally ill patients to choose death with dignity by refusing life prolonging treatment for incurable diseases. The alternative to natural death statutes is the living will. The author discusses how refusal of medical treatment coincides with the right of privacy by looking at legal developments on this topic in various states.
