Abstract
United States Supreme Court Justice, Bryon R. White, provides the dedication of the Fifth Circuit Surveys spanning the period from July 1, 1982, through June 30, 1983. Justice White praises the work of the Fifth Circuit and impresses the impact of the Fifth Circuit’s decisions. White concludes with, “This scholarly examination of the Fifth Circuit’s opinions will aid all judges and lawyers who appreciate the importance of maintaining the federal law in a satisfactorily coherent state.”
