Abstract
Discusses the changes brought about by the 1983 amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. These changes brought about controversial changes to the certification of motions and other papers by attorneys, pretrial procedure, and discovery. These amendments address concerns on properly limiting and controlling the discovery and pretrial processes.
