Abstract
Discusses the changes made to juvenile confession law over time. First, the article sets out the history of juvenile confession law and the privileges attached. Next, the article discusses the present statutory scheme within the Family Code, including admissibility, requirements for admissibility, and validity of confessions. The article next addresses issues with the current legal framework and proposes solutions to remedy these issues.
