Abstract
Provides a case study of Moser v. United States Steel Corp., which held that title to uranium resides in the mineral owner as a matter of law and the “other minerals” clause includes all substances that fit in the ordinary and natural meaning of the word, with which uranium is included. The article includes a discussion of the development and abandonment of the surface destruction doctrine and a discussion of attempts to resolve title uncertainty. The article mentions areas of potential litigation that may result from the case.
