Abstract

Surveys recent antitrust decisions in the Fifth Circuit. Discusses notable cases with respect to violations of Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act, Section 3 of the Clayton Act, the Robinson-Patman Act and the Thrift Institutions Restructuring Act. It reviews antitrust damage issues and exemptions and immunities. Finally, the article concludes that the Fifth Circuit continued its well-reasoned analysis of established antitrust principles.
