Abstract

During the survey period, the court decided seventy-six labor and employment law cases with published opinions and still more with unpublished opinions. The object of this article is to note the court's published decisions. Attention is also given to two Supreme Court rulings that importantly affect what had been thought to be settled case law in the Fifth Circuit. In addition, note is made of two long-awaited and significant Fifth Circuit cases handed down just outside the survey period which strike down most of the Texas mass picketing statutes as unconstitutional.
