Abstract
Addresses the federal civil forfeiture provisions pertaining to forfeiture of real estate used as an instrument of or was the fruit of criminal activity. The author seeks to provide the mortgage lender with a guide to the law and their rights when it finds its collateral the object of a forfeiture proceeding.
