Abstract

Discusses each Federalist paper from 52 through 83 and their significance to the Constitution. These papers deal with the “machinery” of the constitutional system such as term lengths, election, and appointments. The author feels that while many people find papers 52-83 mundane they provide an “indispensable component” of the defense of the Constitution.
