Abstract
Focuses on the “economic loss” rule and its status in Texas. The article also addresses Scharrenbeck and its progeny. It also looks at DeLanney and suggests a form of analysis for future cases. While this article does not propose solutions to all issues concerning recovery of economic loss in tort it does propose an analysis that would help courts find solutions.
