Discusses a number of banking law opinions decided by the Fifth Circuit between June 1991 and May 1992. Topics include good faith and fair dealing, the applicability of D'Oench Duhme/Section 1823(e) defenses, and the construction of Texas real property foreclosure law. These cases present issues that frequently arise in banking litigation.
