Attributions, behavior, and relationship satisfaction

The current study investigated the relationship between attributions about partners' positive and negative behaviors and behavioral reactions to those partner behaviors, and compared distressed and nondistressed individuals ·on this attribution-behavioral reaction association. Additionally, this study assessed possible. Intervening variables in the attribution-behavioral reaction association, and attributional and behavioral reaction differences to partners' behaviors related to important and unimportant issues in the relationship.
