Abstract

This study examines speech motor differences among children with fetal alcohol syndrome and neurotypical children. Three standardized tests examining speech and non-verbal intelligence were administered to children 3 - 10, diagnosed with FAS, and to controls. Children with FAS exhibited specific deficits in the area of focal oromotor control.
