This document, a report for the research grant sponsor, details results from a project exploring licensed social workers' attitudes toward and experiences with clinical supervision hours required for state licensure delivered via electronic methods. A quantitative survey was used to collect data from new LCSWs and clinical supervisors and qualitative interviews were conducted with supervisors with experience providing clinical supervision via electronic methods. Key findings: Few social workers are utilizing videoconferencing or other electronic methods to obtain/provide required clinical supervision hours towards licensure. Those with experience with e-supervision methods have more positive attitudes towards its use. No significant differences were found in ratings of supervisor competency between those who used e-supervision and those who did not.
