Abstract

A case study for product reliability, process improvement and cycle-time reduction. The objective of this paper is to use a data driven process capability approach to determine the probability of the process producing space grade electronics within the specification limits and make a case for cost and cycle time reduction by not performing 100% inspection. This paper will use process capability techniques to compare the output of recent repeatable processes to the specification limits by using statistical analysis and capability.
