Abstract

Thesis Statement: Architectural forms should be carefully selected by architects to reflect nature and integrate within the natural environment by creating harmony between the natural and the man-made world. Will be placed on providing a comfortable indoor / outdoor setting for the occupants. The hotel will be designed to accommodate vacationers as they travel from far and near to experience the tropical setting. Facility Type: The building type is a resort hotel. In addition to providing all the amenities of a resort hotel, the facility will also contain a ballroom and meeting rooms. Scope of Project. - The resort hotel of this project is a 200-room hotel. Taking the Bahamas' tropical atmosphere into consideration, emphasis Context Statement. - The proposed site for this project is in Freeport, Bahamas. Located next to the Xanadu Beach Hotel, the proposed site has a panoramic view of the beach. Mission Statement: For a multistory hotel: To create a facility that provides maximum opportunities to experience the tropical setting
