Studies of foster care and youth in foster care

This dissertation consists of two studies of foster youth and the foster care system. The first study, a quantitative study, is a curriculum evaluation of Making Proud Choice!, a reproductive health program, presented to youth in the foster care system. The second study, a qualitative study, explores the strengths and challenges of not only the foster care system but also youth involved in the foster care system. Findings from these studies can be used to inform policy and practice regarding foster youth and the foster care system.
