Abstract
Critical Regionalism is a recent movement in architecture that creates regionally and culturally conscience architecture but at the same time takes part in modern civilization. Today architecture should be reflective of a surrounding region, history and culture, and therefore utilize such aspects of an area including the topography, culture, climate, and vernacular elements in a new and unfamiliar way.
