Abstract
First, this article will summarize the development of the doctrine of corporate criminal liability. Second, the pertinent statutes and case law will be examined to clarify the scope and applicability of corporate criminal liability in Texas as it now stands. The third section of this comment will respond to the policy concerns traditionally associated with the imposition of criminal liability upon commercial entities and address the potential for expansion inherent in Texas' new doctrine of corporate criminal liability.
