[Letter to E. Rector] requesting to be sent information regarding the number of Indians in their Providences, the number of warriors, the tribes that are the friendliest, which are the Indians that are friendly with the Confederate States, and who would be willing to become soldiers. Hence, any information regarding these issues is to be sent to the War Department, office of Indian Affairs.
