Consumer Law

Survey of United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit’s consumer law decisions for the period from September 1, 1977, through June 30, 1978. Primary emphasis will be placed on the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and Regulation Z. In addition, this survey will examine a case that arose from the first exercise of power by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, a commission created by Congress as part of the Consumer Products Safety Act.
