Abstract
Franchisee associations are groups of individual franchisees who join together to address problems common in the franchise system. When franchisee associations file suit in their own name to rectify an alleged wrong suffered by an individual franchisee, the court must determine whether the association has standing to sue. This article discusses associational standing and its application in the franchise context.
