Abstract
Taking Nietzsche's ethical affirmation of the value of power as a starting point, I set out to show that virtue can be understood in terms of what kind of self-knowers we are. By identifying moral features within several examples where we observe Nietzsche praising and criticizing various behaviors, I describe the virtue of self-knowledge as one that exhibits the qualities of self-knowledge and self-ignorance which facilitate life and the feeling of power. I go on to outline the limitations of this virtue while also defending Nietzsche against a relativist view of truth.
