Abstract
Symbolic expressions contained in war poetry may be revealed through an architectural hierarchy of space, and juxtaposition of materials to evoke a private response in a public setting. As the museum will display the art of soldiers, the art itself should become the focus and the means of design. By analyzing and representing the poetry through the facility, the strength of the symbolism, mood, and rhythm of the architecture can be enhanced.
