Abstract
This research investigates the impact of American media coverage of the Middle East on Arab students and journalists in the United States. It examines their perceptions of the accuracy and depth of American media portrayal, addressing concerns of outdated stereotypes and political bias. Additionally, it explores how such coverage shapes their sense of identity and belonging, and whether they perceive political candidates in the U.S. exploiting Middle Eastern issues for political gain. Factors influencing media narratives, including financial interests, pressure from antagonistic groups, and official American policies, are also analyzed.
