Abstract
Use critical regionalism to define Mexican architecture through the use of form and its interaction with culture, climate, myth, and craft. Such architecture has to express a national spirit unfurling its cultural, economical, and political independence with a self-reflective and self-referential idea of place. The creation of a Mexican embassy in the United States of America that puts an economically and politically advancing country in the global light with a sensual, highly cultural, and earthbound architecture which expresses its mythic feeling and roots to its beginnings, descriptive of its values and images locally cultivated that make up its own prosperous identity.
