Abstract
A 3-D model that integrates a complete PLSS and suit model has been developed for the CSSS program. The model permits prediction of a system level interaction, PLSS hardware thermal control system operation, and behavior of the crewmember and their spacesuit in extreme environments, and especially of those that are strongly directional such as is experienced in space. This integrated model is validated against the nearest Wissler model analog in a representative exploration environment.
