Abstract

Provides commentary on Chapter 21 of the Texas Family Code. Chapter 21 involves the revised Uniform Reciprocal Enforcement of Supporting Act (URESA), which is a tool in the collection of child support. Since URESA's adoption in Texas in 1965, relatively few Texas appellate court decisions have interpreted its provisions. Accordingly, cases involving the application of the Act from other jurisdictions are included in this commentary on the Texas Act.
