Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the verbal responses of kindergarten pupils to three categories of questions which were formulated by guidelines reported in Bloom's Taxonomy of Educational Objectives: Handbook I; Cognitive Domain. (9) The verbal responses were analyzed by checking the mean length of minimal terminable syntactic units, total word count, and vocabulary diversity. The differences which occurred between boys and girls composed another facet of the study.
