Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify ideal and actual roles of elementary school counselors working within low and high minority enrollment schools, according to the perceptions of elementary school counselors and principals. In addition, the study will identify and analyze differences regarding counselor roles among the following subgroups: principals and counselors, counselors in low and high minority schools, and principals in low and high minority schools.
