dc.description.abstractBy integrating the medieval idea of palimp!3e5t and the current trend of adaptive re -use in architecture, It Is now both possible and acceptable to reuse, rebuild, and recreate new architecture out of existing architecture. By creating a new layer of architecture upon the existing fabric a valid architectural connection can be made from past to present.
