Class, alienation, familism and utilization of health-care facilities: A Mexican sample

The immediate task is to investigate the thesis that familism does indeed serve as a coping mechanism by reducing powerlessness. It is believed that participation in Mexican society's medical institutions is facilitated by familism and its inherent social support in a lower-class population.
