Abstract

This study uses a descriptive case study method to address gaps in the current literature within the fields of higher education online students’ experiences and perspectives with personal-social and academic digital literacy skills. It explores how personal-social skills are leveraged and altered within their online academic learning spaces to support online academic success. This study gathered think descriptive data from participants that shared perspectives and real-life experiences using their personal-social and academic digital literacy skills. The insights gathered will help online educators and researchers gain awareness of how online students use their personal-social and academic digital literacy skills and experience their online education.
