Estate Planning for Pets

Courts and legislatures are recently more favorably approaching gifts to pets, and there is a higher probability of having courts apply a variety of techniques and policies to recognize these gifts. The author discusses several techniques currently available and whether these techniques should be utilized. A short discussion also occurs of other non-statutory methods available to recognize the pet owner's final desires for their pets.
