Outlines the rules of construction and guiding principles that the court has applied in DTPA cases. Each of the rules is detailed, with a discussion of how the pertinent rule or rules led to the outcome in a particular case. The following section of the article describes how the proper application of these rules should guide the resolution of DTPA issues in future cases.
