Abstract
Provides commentary on Chapter 15 of the Texas Family Code involving the termination of the parent-child relationship. It is the final and irreversible severance of all legal rights and duties between parent and child. Termination should be used only when it will provide a positive benefit to the child and not as a punishment for the erring parent.
