Abstract

Discusses the Bill of Rights and the opposition it faced before it was added to the Constitution. It focuses on the attempt by the Federalists to exclude a formal bill of rights from the Constitution, the reasoning for this position, and the provisions in the Constitution (excluding the Bill of Rights) the federalists argue makes the Constitution in and of itself a bill of rights.
