dc.descriptionGanges, an iron bark, is being towed by a couple of stalwarts on Puget Sound a century ago. There was an earlier Ganges built in the 1840s that was lost. Ganges II was owned by James Nourse until 1904, when a Norwegian firm purchased the vessel.
